How often should my hood filters be exchanged?
The right schedule depends on your cooking volume, cooking methods, operating hours, and how quickly grease accumulates on your filters.
High-volume kitchens may need more frequent exchanges, while lower-volume operations may be better suited to a monthly schedule. We’ll recommend a starting frequency based on your kitchen and adjust the schedule if needed.
What type of filters do you provide?
We work with commercial stainless-steel baffle filters sized to fit your hood system.
During onboarding, we confirm your filter dimensions, quantity, and hood configuration so the correct filters are available for your scheduled exchanges.
How much does hood filter exchange cost?
Pricing depends primarily on the number and size of filters, your exchange frequency, and your location.
Once we understand your kitchen setup, we can provide a straightforward recurring-service quote so you know what to expect before service begins.
What happens to the dirty filters?
The grease-loaded filters leave your kitchen with us. They are taken off-site for professional cleaning and preparation for their next exchange cycle.
That means your staff doesn't have to soak, scrub, or degrease the filters inside the kitchen.
What areas do you service?
Our primary service area is Hudson County and surrounding North Jersey communities, with core routes focused on Jersey City, Hoboken, and Union City.
We also serve nearby communities including North Bergen, Weehawken, West New York, Secaucus, and Bayonne depending on route availability.

Will the exchange interrupt my kitchen?
Filter exchanges are designed to be quick and minimally disruptive. We work with you to schedule service around your kitchen's operating hours whenever possible.
Dirty filters are removed, clean filters are installed, and your staff can get back to running the kitchen without having to clean the filters themselves.
Do my employees need to clean the filters between visits?
The goal of the exchange program is to take routine filter cleaning off your staff's maintenance list.
We establish an exchange schedule intended to replace grease-loaded filters with clean filters before your team needs to perform a full filter cleaning themselves.
Does filter exchange replace full hood and exhaust-system cleaning?
No. Hood filter exchange is specifically focused on the removable grease filters in your commercial kitchen hood.
It does not replace any required inspection or cleaning of the complete exhaust system, including the hood interior, ductwork, or exhaust fan.
Do I need to purchase new filters before starting?
Not necessarily. During your initial setup, we'll confirm the size, quantity, style, and condition of your existing filters and explain what is needed to establish your exchange rotation.
What happens to my existing filters?
We'll review your existing filter setup during onboarding. Depending on their size and condition, we can determine the best way to establish the recurring exchange program for your kitchen.
Do I receive documentation after service?
Yes. Our service model includes documentation of completed filter exchanges so your team has a clear record of when service was performed.
This also makes it easier to track your recurring maintenance schedule and know when the next exchange is due.
